The Texas Railroad Commission does not control railroads.
Luke Warford (D) is running for Texas Railroad Commissioner in 2022. The Warford team approached my company with the goal of creating social video content to commemorate the anniversary of a horrible blizzard in Texas in 2021 that left millions without power. To Warford, the Texas Railroad Commission is responsible for the crisis through their inaction. He is running for for the Commissioner position to make sure crises like these never happen again.
I pitched the Warford team on a video in the style of Vice and Vox explainers, to explain 2021’s blizzard and how the Railroad Commission (a fairly unknown office) was responsible.
