The Colorado Democratic Party became a client of Uplift Campaigns in April of 2023 to revamp their email fundraising program. Before the launch, the client mentioned they didn't like their logo; Uplift asked for a chance to update the branding before the new email program took off. I delivered the party's new visual identity that has been adopted quickly across the party's graphic, social, and video content.
The Party's satisfaction with my design work has led to their continued collaboration with Uplift, including branding work like The Horizon Project: an initiative dedicated to keeping the Colorado's most vulnerable Democratic Congresswoman in office, The 546 Project: an initiative targeting Lauren Boebert to flip her district blue, and DemFest: the party's yearly fundraising gala.
The 546 Project:
In 2022, Lauren Boebert barely won against her Democratic opponent. 546 votes, to be exact.
Enter, the 546 Project, the Colorado Democratic Party's initiative to create a year-round grassroots organizing and engagement infrastructure targeting Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District.
The Colorodo Democrats, pleased with my work on their rebrand, approached me to brand the Project.
Boebert made national headlines in January 2024 when she moved districts, running away from the challenge of The 546 Project. The successful project shut down shortly after the news.
DemFest & DemZest
The 2024 election in Colorado is an important one. To help fundraise, the Colorado Democrats are hosting the first-ever Colorado DemFest. Inspired by the determination, organization, and success of labor unions across the country, the Colorado DemFest will be a chance to learn and connect with fellow Democrats and friends in Labor.

Six months later, following the success of DemFest, the Colorado Dems host DemZest, a chile cookoff between Colorado and New Mexico Democrats.
I was the lead brand designer behind all three events, creating the initial brand package and collaborating with other designers to ensure collateral stayed on-brand.
